Ahmad Dhani held a concert titled "The Rock Show For Free Ariel" to gain supports for Ariel who is in prison after pledged guilty for sex-tape circulation. What is done by Ahmad Dhani draws harsh critics from Farhat Abbas.
"Ahmad Dhani has no brain. I think he's overacting and only seeking for sensation by organizing a concert for Ariel," he said when contacted in Jakarta, Monday.
Solidarity to support Ariel to comeback into the music industry is rated as inappropriate by the head of Hajar NGO.
"Solidarity is solidarity. But a concert is not necessary. Ariel is disgraceful for recording a sex-tape with other man's wife, and it's very inappropriate." he claimed.
Not only organizing a concert titled "For Free Ariel," Ahmad Dhani as the boss of Republik Cinta artists management (RCM) also collecting signatures from musician and artists. The signatures will be handed to the police as a consideration request to postpone Ariel's detention.
"About the signature collecting, it's okay. But even if Dhani managed to collect the signature of all Indonesian people, it's up to the police for reconsideration," Farhat said.
Ahmad Dhani, when met at the concert location, The Rock Cafe, Jakarta on Saturday, admitted that Ariel already knew about the concert.
"Oh, Ariel know about this. This is a form of support to Peterpan who lost their singer. This is a form of sympathy and empathy. We want them to keep praying so that Ariel can be freed, and join Peterpan again," Dhani said.
Still, Farhat Abbas considered that Ahmad Dhani has no brain.
