Jay Mariotti, sports columnist for ESPN and writer for Funhouse.com, was arrested in Los Angeles last night for domestic violence. Mariotti was arrested for suspicion of a felony and allegedly physical altercation on his girlfriend.
Mariotti, 51, was involved in an argument with his girlfriend in a club in Santa Monica. The argument continued in their apartment at Venice where Mariotti allegedly perform a felony at 5:45 am.
Jay Mariotti is currently being held for $50,000 bail at the 77th Street station, LA.
