"I already grab my place from now. I'm not gonna move until the event finished." Richmond District resident Janett Hudson said.
Hudson knows the traffic will be insane at the festival day. She parked her car to claim his place at Thursday, and it will stay there.
The Outside Lands will be started on Saturday at nearby polo grounds. More than 50,000 people predicted to have a hard time trying to find parking space.
Tickets for the festival are $75. No food or drink from outside is allowed into the ground, but there are food sold inside from 40 local restaurants and various wines from 25 wineries.
The city will gain around $1 million from the event. The estimated spending off all attendance from all over the country at the two-days event will be about $30 million.
Promoters encouraged attendance to use public transportation as the best way to attend the festival.
