Indoleaks netIndoleaks.org has become a well-known brand in Indonesia that so many clones of the site is now popping up. Most of them are just taking advantage of Indoleaks' name by parking the domain hoping for someone to mistype the domain name.

But this one is establishing itself as a direct competition to Indoleaks.org. Using Indoleaks.net as domain name, it comes with a neat and better design the former one.

When first launched, Indoleaks.net has an exactly same design with Indoleaks.org that everyone thought it's a mirror site or maintained by the same owner.

But recent statement from Indoleaks.org denied any connection with Indoleaks.net.

"Until now, we only have one site at Indoleaks.org. Our Twitter account is @indoleaks. Our documents in this site can be accessed at Slideshare.net/Indoleaks. We only have one email: indoleaks@gmail.com. We are not responsible for any account other than stated above."

IT expert from Jakarta Islamic University, Abimanyu Wachjoewidajat has an opinion on these sites.

"Now we can clearly see the difference on the information served, I am sure that Indoleaks.net is not a mirror site of Indoleaks.org," Abimanyu stated.

Abimanyu explained that according to the law, Indoleaks.org can take legal action on Indoleaks.net for creating a clone of the site. But it will be impossible to do because Indoleaks.org doesn't have a disclaimer preventing anyone from downloading and republishing its contents and documents.

Furthermore, to take legal action, the owner of Indoleaks.org needs to reveal his identity. Something that also seems to be impossible for it can endangered his safety.

"I can say Indoleaks.net is smart to take advantage of the situation," Abimanyu added.

Indoleaks.org stated on the site that information is a human right. Now the statement backfires when Indoleaks.net said "information is a human right just as Indoleaks.org stated."

One major and important difference between the two sites is that Indoleaks list a phone number as contact information.

This could get more interesting and probably hilarious if someone also creates a parody of Indoleaks.org.
