Thousands units of Mazda 6 have been recalled for a shocking reason: spider invasion! This news might sound ridiculous but it can also be a proof of how comfortable the Mazda 6 interior that even spiders have instinct to build their lair in it.
The spider caused 65,000 units of Mazda 6 to be recalled from North America market. "Not only in the U.S, but also in Canada, Mexico, and Puerto Rico," The Canadian Press wrote.
The recalled Mazda were produced between 2009 to 2010. Spiders have invaded the engine room and disrupting air flow in the tank. This condition could lead to a leaked gas and triggered fire.
As an anticipation, Mazda will add peer system to the waste-system, avoiding insects to enter the ventilation system.
"The spiders probably love Mazda's Zoom-Zoom spirit," said Jeremy Barnes from Mazda, joking. Zoom-zoom is Mazda's tagline.
So far, there have been at least 20 cases of spider invasion in the engine room. Although it's not the vendor's fault, Mazda will still recall the cars.
